Joining Troop NC-613 for 2023-24

The Troop is wrapping our 2022-23 ministry program year with our end of year awards and some final activities. At the same time, we are gearing up for the next year. Our Woodlands Trailmen (K-5 elementary) take a break for the summer, while our older members continue through the summer.

Registration

As our membership page explains in more detail, each our members has a local troop membership with associated dues, and a national membership with a national registration fee. Those joining our troop begin by completing our local registration online.

This local registration is now open, and those joining now will have a local membership through June 30, 2024. Our joining instructions page has more details.

After local membership is completed, we will invite you to register with the Trail Life national organization.

Visits to the Troop

We welcome and encourage visits to the troop before joining. Those with Middle or High School sons desiring to visit our summer meetings should email . Our online visit scheduling system can arrange visits to the regular meetings for all ages in the fall. The first meeting is September 11, 2023 at 6:30 PM.

Kickoff Family Fun Night

We will have our traditionally kick-off Family Fun Night on August 28, 2023. This event has some light food, games for youth, and information sessions for parents. This is a great opportunity to learn about what we are doing in the troop, and in Shepherd’s Girls. Check back soon for more details and a link to tell us you are coming.
