Fundraising Chair

The Fundraising Chair is a member of the Troop Committee responsible for the troop’s fundraising initiatives. Our Troop operates a rigorous outdoor program at a large scale. We occur considerable costs in equipment, supplies, and advancement recognition. We also desire to maintain affordability to our families. Fundraising is the key to maintaining this balance.

Our troop has traditionally organized product-sale fundraisers, and anticipate that will continue. However, we seek a Fundraising Chair who will bring innovation to our fundraising methods. At the same time, we need to operate our fundraisers within church guidelines, and a successful Fundraising Chair is going to work closely with the Committee (in particular the Committee Chair and Treasurer) to make sure we seek full support of any new initiatives.

Note, in absence of a Fundraising Chair, we may appoint one or more Fundraising Leads
